Closed Saturdays and Sundays. Outside hours, leave a voicemail and Simon will return your call. Out-of-hours emergency callouts are available by arrangement for genuine emergencies (no heat in winter, gas leaks, dangerous faults). Out-of-hours rate is £149 for the first hour and £89 per hour after.

What to have ready when you call

If you can have a few details to hand before you call, it helps Simon give you a more accurate response on the phone and book the right slot first time.

  • Boiler make and model Usually printed on a sticker inside the front cover of the boiler, or on the user manual.
  • The fault code or symptoms If the boiler is showing a fault code, write it down. If not, describe what's happening: no heat, no hot water, lost pressure, strange noise, leak.
  • Approximate boiler age If you know roughly when it was installed. The age affects which parts are likely to be failing.
  • Your address and access details Postcode for booking, and any access notes (gated property, side entrance, key under a flowerpot).
  • When the boiler was last serviced Approximately. Recent service often rules out certain types of fault.

None of this is essential. If you don't know any of it, just call. Simon can usually work out what's needed from a brief description.
